Víctor de Diego studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música of Bilbao and at the Conservatorio del Liceo of Barcelona, where he obtained the Higher Saxophone Qualification. He has attended International Seminars with musicians such as Bob Moses, Roy Haynes, Mulgrew Miller, Max Roach, John Abercrombie and George Garzone.

He started his career in 1984 playing with groups such as Pork Pie Hat, Infussion and Quartet Creciente, with which he obtained many awards at the Festivals of Donosti, Getxo, Majorca and Ibiza.

He has worked with prestigious musicians such as Jordi Bonell, Jordi Rossy, Lluís Vidal, Javier Colina, Carles Benavent, Idrish Muhammad, Jeff Ballard...
